1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, linking your Discord profile, joining our servers, or participating in FactionForge tournaments and events, you signify your agreement to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you must not access or use the Platform.

2. User Accounts & Eligibility

• Age Requirement: You must be at least 13 years old to use FactionForge. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or legal guardian's permission to use the Platform.
• Account Responsibility: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use.
• Accurate Information: You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your profile updated.

3. Community Conduct & Rules

FactionForge is built to foster a competitive, respectful, and collaborative gaming environment. Users are strictly prohibited from engaging in the following behavior:

• Using cheats, hacks, exploits, bots, or unauthorized third-party software while interacting with our platform, matchmaking tools, or game servers.
• Harassing, bullying, threatening, or discriminating against other members, staff, or squads.
• Posting or transmitting spam, malicious links, malware, or inappropriate/NSFW content.
• Impacting or disrupting the integrity of our game servers, website infrastructure, or tournament brackets.

4. Server Boosting, Support Tiers, & Perks

• Voluntary Contribution: Support tiers (such as Soldier, Squad, or Platoon tiers) and Discord server boosts are voluntary contributions used to help cover hosting costs and maintain the LFG system.
• Perks & Availability: Perks—including platform spotlights, reserved server slots, whitelists, and priority matchmaking—are subject to availability and adherence to community rules.
• Revocation of Perks: FactionForge reserves the right to suspend or revoke perks, whitelist access, or supporter status without refund if a user violates these Terms of Service or engages in toxic behavior within the community.

5. Tournaments and Prizes

• Prizing Eligibility: To claim prizes from FactionForge community events or tournaments, squads and players must comply with all tournament-specific rules, check-in deadlines, and fair-play standards.
• Disqualification: Staff reserve the right to disqualify any team or player suspected of cheating, match-fixing, smurfing, or unsportsmanlike conduct.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the FactionForge platform—including logos, branding, interface designs, text, and graphics—is the property of FactionForge and is protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute our proprietary assets without explicit written permission.

7. Limitation of Liability

FactionForge is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation of our website, LFG tools, or community game servers. FactionForge shall not be held liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of your use of the Platform.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted with an updated "Effective Date." Your continued use of the Platform following any modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
